Blue Mountain Brewery:  Central Virginia is very proud of the award winning beers produced at the Blue Mountain Brewery.  Blue Mountain Brewery is a rapidly growing employer in the region, leveraging Central Virginia’s idyllic mountain views to attract visitors and Central Virginia’s transportation infrastructure to export beers north to New York, west to Michigan, and south to North Carolina.

S&P Global Market Intelligence: S&P Global Market Intelligence is an international business intelligence firm.  S&N Finanical, purchased by McGraw Hill Financial which later became S&P Global Inc., selected Central Virginia as its global headquarters, demonstrating the region’s suitability for business and financial services firms.

TE Connectivity:  TE Connectivity is a global, $12 billion company that has entrusted a crucial division of its business, the production of wires and cable for the maritime industry, exclusively to its Central Virginia manufacturing facility.  TE Connectivity cited Central Virginia’s workforce and other assets as major factors behind its recent decision to invest $15 million and add 30 new jobs at its Central Virginia facility.

The University of Virginia:  In addition to being a major education and innovation asset to Central Virginia businesses, the University of Virginia is also the region’s largest employer.
