Bonumose Grand Opening!

The Central Virginia Partnership was excited to attend the grand opening of Bonumose’s new facility in the former State Farm building today! Bonumose makes a natural, non-caloric sugar substitute, Tagatose©, with investment partners The Hershey Company and Domino’s sugar company, ASR Group. Speaking at the event, Governor Glenn Youngkin claimed that “a spoonful of Tagatose is making Virginia’s spirit go up!”

Bonumose occupies 50,000 square feet of the 300,000 square feet facility and has doubled their workforce to 64 employees. The product Tagatose, which will go by a to-be-determined brand name at market, is non-GMO, Keto certified, Kosher, vegan and affordable for a global mass market.
