Third in this 3-course series,
QBO Foundations, Part 2 explores practical navigation through QuickBooks Online using a live, multimedia demo of the system and is a sequel to Part 1. You will learn how to manage accrual accounting transactions for both accounts receivable (money in) and accounts payable (money out). Covered topics include adding customers, creating invoices, receiving payments, and posting deposits for accounts receivable. For accounts payable it covers adding vendors, creating bills, paying bills by check or ACH, vendor credits, and more. Information on banking integration with QuickBooks Online and reconciliations will also be covered.
Pre-Requisite: QuickBooks Online Foundations, Part 1
Required equipment: Laptop computer (Windows or Mac with the minimum
operating system requirement requirements*).
*Computer requirements:
• Windows PC: Windows 7 or newer, Intel Core i5 or comparable processor (2015 or
newer) with at least 4 GB of RAM. Note: You need Adobe Reader 11.0 or higher to
print forms.
• Mac: OS X “Panther” 10.13 or newer.
• Internet connection: 3 Mbps or higher.
• Internet browser: Google Chrome is recommended for optimal operation

- $199 for QuickBooks Online (QBO) Foundations, Part 2 only (May 5)
- $229 for QuickBooks Online (QBO) Foundations, Parts 1 and 2 (April 29 and May 5)
- $249 for both QuickBooks classes (parts 1 and 2) AND the Recordkeeping and Bookkeeping for Small Business class offered on April 22

Ellen is Founder and Principal of Octavo LLC and is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
