South Park Centre in Madison County
At the center of one of Central Virginia’s northernmost counties is South Park Centre, 35 acres of county-owned land zoned B-1. The Tier-2 site is proposed to be a commercial park suitable for businesses like restaurants, professional offices, retail and services. The Centre is located on a major highway, U.S. Route 29.
Madison County is one of Central Virginia’s northernmost counties making for easy access to Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. via U.S. Route 29. The site has easy access to I-64 and I-81, both just 30 miles away. The closest commercial airport is the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (20 miles) and the closest major international airport is Washington Dulles International Airport (75 miles).
South Park Centre is in Phase 1 of its development plan with four parcels, with future phases expanding to a total of eight. As a largely rural county, the area thrives around agriculture and forest product industries.
