Monday, June 6, 2016

THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED-Please contact the SBDC if you would like to make an individual appointment.

Legal Mistakes That Can Destroy Your Small Business and How to Avoid Them

A business owner has a long list of priorities. At times, the legal issues a business faces may end up at the bottom of that list inadvertently. However, the danger of crippling litigation should be at the top of your priorities.  Legal headaches, especially in America, can take you by surprise and severely hurt your business’ bottom line. It’s important to protect yourself and your business from legal mistakes. Otherwise, you could end up in a lot of legal trouble, or worse – broke.

The key to legal issues in a small business is avoiding them. This workshop will cover some of the most common legal issues facing small businesses in America, and how to avoid them.

Louisa Business Bursts are held the first Monday of each month at the Louisa Arts Center from 6:00-8:00 pm. The seminars are $10 each for Louisa Chamber members and $20 for non-members.
