Growth Wheel — Make Decisions. Take Action
Make Decisions.
— Take Action
A Growth Wheel® Training Program
Growth Wheel® is a visual toolkit for dialogue and decision making. It helps entrepreneurs build their businesses through a simple action-focused process that stays true to the way most entrepreneurs think and work.
Simple. Visual. Practical.
A 360º Perspective Made Simple
Growth Wheel was designed around the observation that… all Companies have the Same Challenges.
Whatever the industry, lifestage, or company size, building and growing a company comes down to the same four basic challenges:
- creating an attractive Business Concept,
- building a strong Organization behind it,
- developing lasting Customer Relations, and
- doing so while maintaining profitable Operations
This 10-session course will begin with each business owner completing a 360° Assessment of their business along with methods to select prioritized focus areas. Attendees will then be introduced to Growth Wheel® tools for the 20 focus areas (5 for each 4 categories), taught the intention of the tools, the process for using them, and how to develop Next Steps for their own organization by Setting an Agenda, Making Decisions, and Taking Action. Each session of the course will also include a roundtable discussion regarding how the tools could be useful to individual business situations as well as how and when to apply them — how to set an agenda, make a decision, and take action.
The 10 sessions will alternate between Tuesday evenings (6:00pm – 8:00pm) and Saturday mornings (10:00am – 12:00noon), with about two weeks between sessions to allow participants to experience using the tools in their daily activities and/or to meet one-on-one with an SBDC Business Advisor to discuss use of the tools in a specific business scenario. See below for a full schedule of course sessions.
